I'm based in Montreal, Canada, currently pursuing graduate studies in Computer Science with a focus on AI, while also pursuing my other initiatives and staying active outside of academics.

My path into Computer Science started long before university: I worked through and documented in LaTeX over 600 mathematical propositions as self-study exercises across mathematical proofs textbooks, which furthered my ability to think critically — a skill I find decently practical in my work & pleasantly useful occasionally in general. I'm especially drawn to knowing the logical and/or mathematical background of algorithms that I may leverage often — as truly understanding them can help one apply them far more broadly, or even improve upon them, for the efficiency gains may be phenomenal. In particular, I view efficiency as an extremely important attribute to fulfill any form of ambition, and the better the efficiency is towards the start, the more payoff it can possibly give in terms of the particular ambition one applies themselves to. One may argue time is money; more certainly however, time is a ever depleting resource, and to this day, can never be recovered once lost. This further makes efficiency — a direct attribute that affects productivity towards a particular chosen ambition(s) — all the more important.

Beyond the classroom, I've spent several years building and leading community-driven initiatives: founding and leading as President of a university's AI & Robotics Society, co-founding a separate large student club, and leading volunteer teams on large-scale open-source software projects (100s of volunteers managed by me during the development cycles, some of those projects have 100K+ active users currently and are published online). Those first-hand, practical experiences further honed my leadership, communication, efficiency, and perseverance.

I strive to make my daily life as efficient as possible, for I seek my ambitions as if I were a moth to a flame — whilst aware of the limited lifetimes we have. I also have as an ambition the maximization of my own health, life expectancy, and healthspan. In terms of hobbies, I try to orient myself towards hobbies that have some form of healthy aspect to them: dancing, exercise, swimming, hiking, and so on. One further positive to being efficient is that any leftover time due to my efficiency, I can also spend towards my ambitions and/or hobbies.
